Bindi Irwin’s bravely following her dad’s legacy with her show Bindi the Jungle Girl on Discovery Kids, but some parents are saying that it’s just too creepy for kids.
Not for the snakes and other wild things, but the way the show speaks of Steve Irwin in the present tense, and suddenly cuts to scenes of him — a year after he passed away. Kids are bound to ask questions, while some adults think “the grief’s too fresh” for them to see Steve in this way.
Others say that it’s the healthiest way to grieve, and at least the world sees his child continuing his legacy. What do you think?
